How does it work?
We want to make the experience of a lifetime accessible to our local community! If you live within driving distance this is a unique opportunity to get a taste of paragliding magic.
Here is how it works!
1) Join the list for free
2) We will contact you when there is a good weather window for flying
3) If you are available, we will organize a flight and meeting time and make It happen!
4) We ask that for the price of $150 you are able to help shuttle a vehicle to the takeoff spot after the flight in order to keep the price reasonable.

My Background
My name is Weaver Froelicher, I am 29 years old and paragliding is my passion. I first learned to fly in 2018 while I was living in White Salmon. I quickly became obsessed and started collecting my hours in a paraglider quickly becoming a full time pilot, working in places like Glenwood springs and Telluride in my home state of Colorado. I became intrigued by acrobatics (tricks in a paraglider) and have spent the last 4 years bouncing between flying commercial tandems in the summer and training with the best acrobatic minds in the world in Spain for the winters. Now I would like to start something of my own and share freeflight in the Colombia River Gorge, a community that has always meant so much to me.
Our Vision
Our vision at Hood River Paragliding is to inspire people to connect with nature and explore themselves through the medium of paragliding. We believe that this is a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience everyone should have the chance to try. We hope to show people that our fears can help us grow and show them the natural power of our invisible atmosphere. We want people to leave feeling lucky to have expeirenced somthing special, rare and magical.
Our Products
At Hood River Paragliding, we offer tandem flights as well as instructional programs to teach you to fly all on your own. We offer gear from Ozone and Air G Products as well as gear from the Superfly Family for students.
